In order to use autosell feature of Cryptsy, you should do the steps described below. Additionally you should understand at which price your coins will be sold and what are the differences. At the moment you can not set to which currency it will be converted, so most of the coins are only converted to BTC. I guess that those coins, which can only be traded on LTC or XPM markets are converted to these cryptos.

Why DOGE deposit takes so long ? It seems that there is a solution for this problem. Today i've seen this as an announcement on doge.hashfaster.com.
Quote: "Cryptsy PSA: Make sure you create a new DOGE deposit address before making payouts to, otherwise you will experience HUGE delay (on Cryptsy's behalf)" Because there is not much behind the coins - it is quite difficult to say how much this one or that one could actually cost? Is it overpriced or underpriced? What is the potential? Today I thought about a number which could show the price/overall volume relationship. It could be, that this one already exists, but I didn't find anything similar (OK, I didn't searched a lot :) ), so I dare to give it a name "volumetric".
It is always good to remind yourself, that sometimes things could go the other direction, which you didn't expect them to go to. The cryptocurrency could be a lot of things: future money, "digital gold", anonymous payments, shor- or long-time investment or piramide. You just have to decide what is it for you and stick to your strategy, which may have some risk management Otherwise you are going to loose anyway.
The problem is in your cgminer settings. More specifically you have to add flag --thread-concurrency. The correct number for this is not the same for different GPUs. Sometimes it can also be different for the same GPU core provided by another vendor.
Because crypto currency is just another money, you have to manage it and keep your eye on expenses It is good to know what type of fees you have to pay and why it is necessary. Here I'd like to cover Pool fees.
Pool server load depends on how many packets is sent to it in a period of time. Let's say that every time your worker submits a job - it is one packet. So logically there should be maximum limit of packets server could accept. This depends on server resources and network connection. When difficulty changes the shares are submitted more rarely, therefore reducing server load. So i guess the main point of vardiff was to adjust the load on the server within this limit.
Another interesting message from cgminer, which is rare however. I've found very good explanation on one of the forums from the person with nickname ckolivas. The original post can be found here. I'd like to quote this post and add some personal comments.
If you just started to use cgminer you would probably wonder what do this messages mean . Sometimes you can see 5-6 of them coming in a row without any Accepted job. Is it something to worry about ? Fortunately not! This message means that network have found new block, which is a common thing.
So what happens if your PC HDD brakes or something else bad happens to it? Will you lose your money ? Well, If you didn't backed up your wallet.dat file - you are in trouble. |
